CANCER CARE
BIOPSY FOR CONFIRMATION
To determine whether you have cancer or some other disease biopsy is the only way. During biopsy your doctor collects samples of your cell and send it to department of pathology for confirmation.
STAGING EVALUATION
To determine the spread of disease (Stage) in the body PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography) and other radiological test are done.
TREATMENT PLANNING
As per the biology and staging of cancer your cancer specialist/oncologist plan the management. Which could be Surgry, Radiation, Chemotherapy or Best supportive care (Palliation)
RESPONSE EVALUATION
In order to access the response of treatment Imaging test (PET/Radiology) and tumour marker study (Blood investigations) are done
